Last Saturday I had the pleasure of shooting the wedding of Donna and Francois. The ceremony was at the beautiful new Cathedral of Christ the Light in Oakland, CA and the reception was at the iconic Clairemont Hotel in Berkeley, CA. Bea Ahbeck and Rebecca Stark, two of my favorite people and photographers worked with me all day adding their creative eye and personal touch to the photography.
Here is a short (90 second) slideshow of my favorites.

April & Mike
April and MIke wanted a shoot with city lights and an urban feel. We borrowed a Ferrari (From George, April's father) and headed out to explore San Francisco.
It was cold and windy and getting late, but we pulled through and got some great photos.
Enjoy!

D3 Pictures...And Pizza!
So I finally had a chance to get some pics with my D3 yesterday...I have been completely slammed the last two weeks with client meetings, a couple of commercial shoots and just trying to get things lined out for this year....and I got my D3 exactly one week ago today and had barely taken any pictures with it! People were asking me how I liked it and I was thinking...well...it LOOKS great!
Anyway, so yesterday I carved out some time to do some wonderful, relaxing cooking and got to know my D3 a little bit in the process. The images for the most part are straight out of camera with some color corrections as I went. The cooking shots I preset the WB and they are straight OOC for the most part.
Can I just say...I LOVE having my 50/1.4 again! The razor thin DOF and wonderful, sharp colors...I hardly ever used that lens on my crop cameras...ALL these pictures were shot with it.
ISO ranges from 200 to 6400...can't really tell the difference anyway so what the heck.
A little Salmon goat cheese pizza anyone? You can see the whole series and the recipe on my dailypizza blog.

Aahh - Pizza makes a mess!
